"Understanding The Blueprint Of Man"
by Minister Ginger London, MA
The “Man” is often times seen as a person who should be strong in all areas of his life. He is seen as one who should
be able to control his emotions, not letting his feelings show. He is seen as the strength of his home and community,
not being given much latitude for weakness.
In response to these “should bes” the man finds himself at times closed off or in a place of shutting down in many
areas of his life out of fear of being exposed and/or seen as a “weak man” or as less of a man. This fear can lead
some men to self destructive behaviors such as; alcoholism, drug addictions, depression, gambling, and the like.
The Word of God says that “it is not good for man to be alone,” meaning that it is not good for him to be without
someone as himself to relate to. This often is interpreted to mean he should not be without a wife, but it also means that
it is not good for him to be without “another human being.”
It is not good for him to not have someone to relate to, communicate with, and to fellowship with. For the blueprint of
man you can go to his Creator:
The Creation of Man (Genesis 1:26-28)
Man Was Made From The Dust (Genesis 2:7)
Man Was Endowed With Intelligence (Genesis 2:19-20)
Man Was Created For God’s Pleasure and Glory (Isaiah 43:7; Revelation 4:11)
Strong Friendships Between Men
The Bible speaks of different kinds of friendships a man can encounter. A man’s friends says a lot about him. A man
should spend time with other men who he would be glad to be like.
This should be a Brother in Christ who is wise in the Word of God and in life, who can offer advice to help him become
a better man, Christian, and friend.
