Spiritual Diamond Day 3 Worksheet Below

Welcome to Day 3 of the seven day The Making Of A Spiritual Diamond Challenge.

Today is all about how the cutting process is started.........
Cleaving the Diamond!

In the cutting process the gem cutter uses “cleaving” to cut a rough diamond down to a manageable size. The cutter must
cleave the diamond along the side where it is the weakest. The cutter begins by examining the stone very carefully. He decides
how it should be shaped to retain the utmost weight with the most brilliant effect. A wax or cement mold holds the diamond in
place while the cutter performs the cleaving process. During this process the cutter detects every flaw and streak, and he
knows whether the imperfections are at the stone’s surface or at its heart.

The spiritual diamond has a process that is similar to the cleaving process, which involves two steps.

The first step is being placed on the potter’s wheel.

The working of the “potter’s wheel” is seen in Jeremiah 18:1-6 which says, "The word which came to Jeremiah from the LORD,
saying: Arise and go down to the potter’s house, and there I will cause you to hear My words. Then I went down to the potter’s
house, and there he was, making something at the wheel. And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the
potter; so he made it again into another vessel, as it seemed good to the potter to make. Then the word of the LORD came to
me, saying: O house of Israel, can I not do with you as this potter? says the LORD. Look, as the clay is in the potter’s hand, so
are you in My hand, O house of Israel."

For spiritual growth and maturity several things are necessary as indicated in this passage of scripture:

You must go to God (Potter’s House). God is ultimately responsible for your spiritual growth. His role in your growth
must always be central. He is the seasoned farmer who carefully prepares the soil and maintains the garden with the
vision of seeing each seed grow into maturity. This doesn’t mean that you don’t have an assigned responsibility in your
spiritual growth and maturity.

You must hear God's Words concerning your life and who He wants you to become.

You must understand the workings on the potter’s wheel. Your spiritual growth potential may not be easily seen
at first. You may not see yourself growing and maturing spiritually as would like, but just hold on a change is coming!
Never underestimate what God can do in your life and in the lives of other believers because God sees tremendous
growth potential in you and every believer who has a heart for Him.

You must remain in the Hand of God. You spiritual growth depends on an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ.

The second step I will share with you on Day 4. I think you have enough to mediate on today. Selah!

For today’s challenge, you are to study the scriptures listed on the challenge worksheet for today. Be sure to have pen and paper so that you can write down the truth of God’s Word and how you are to apply these truths to your life.

After you study the scriptures, listen to the audio I created for you. I will teach you more about this step and spiritual growth.

How are your growth pains feeling? Can you feel a change coming?

After completing the worksheet, remember to make a comment about what the challenge for today has helped you to
